Frank was founded in 2006 with a wish to work in dialogue with artists and artisans.

Our focus has been on creative practitioners based in the UK—contemporary artists, ceramicists, weavers, makers—who are innovative and think deeply about their practice, often with an engagement in sustainability and an awareness of their position within contemporary society and culture. We have worked for the last twenty years collaborating with creatives to develop a programme of changing shows with the aim of making a space for new voices and perspectives.
Creativity is on the side of life and gives meaning to it. It brings people together and allows us, in this age of empty images and instant gratification, to reconnect with the handmade and the crafted.  

You can find us in an eighteenth century fisherman’s cottage in Whitstable by the harbour. We’d love to see you.
