Original liquid pigment ink and brush calligraphy drawing on Kozo Washi Japanese paper, treated with archival anti-UV spray and finished with layers of polished cold wax on a cradled plywood panel. St Andrew’s Market takes its subject matter from an unassuming junction in Hastings town centre. Fi likes the idea that her paintings can exist as objects without additional glass and framing.
