Found Pencil Box Drawing 1

Pencil on cardboard, measures 880mm x 770mm (mounted on paper)

Artist’s statement
These are found drawings. I was struck by the marks made by a box full of pencils on the inside of the cardboard box that contains them. Made by accident and by all of the people who have moved or carried that box, the drawings have a fragility and a sense of movement, rhythm order and chance.
