Our Winter display celebrates flora and the seasonal practices of drying and preserving, traditions of busy preparation during periods of dormancy. These garlands of xerochrysum bracteatum, or everlasting flowers, threaded onto cotton, preserve the colours of seasons past, suspended in time.
At this time of year when the Snow Moon appears we are encouraged to think of patience, renewal, rest and clarity. But it’s also a month when we are reminded that Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching. This is a time when thoughts of love allow us to transcend the grey skies and dream of romance, passion and intimacy.
