Rope Trivets

These trivet designs are based on a traditional sailor’s thumper, which would protect the cabin wall from the door slamming in a gust of wind.
Woven using manilla hemp rope from Chatham Dockyard, and oiled to give extra protection and strength. Made in Kent.
