Summer Welsh Blanket

Forest design double weave Welsh blanket is made from 100% pure new wool and edged with a simple hem, making it fully reversible.

This pattern is inspired by the changing colours and seasons of the wooded valley surrounding the mill, and is a bold, simple and contemporary departure from traditional Welsh weave patterns.

Melin Tregwynt is a small whitewashed wooden mill hidden away in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast. A mill has stood on the site since the 17th century and has been owned by the same family since 1912.

The blankets and other textiles are the outcome of a way of thinking, of working and of living handed down through the generations.
