Nigel Peake is an architect and illustrator currently living in Ireland. He grew up in the countryside and moved to the city when he began to train as an architect at the University of Edinburgh. His work is influenced by architecture, and his use of straight lines and meticulous pattern and detail are examples of this. In 2005 he was awarded a Silver Medal commendation by the Royal Institute of British Architects. Peake’s drawings and paintings have been exhibited in various places around the world and he has worked on a variety of commercial projects including working for clients such as Hermes, Ninja Tunes, the Royal Horticultural Society, NY Times, Habitat and Dwell magazine.
