December 12, 2011 Bears at Christmas

Well, we really wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday and noticed that this year we seem to have a bit of a bear theme going on. Our new print by the talented Nick Morley comes in two colourways, pink and green, and might just serve to lift the recessionary gloom a little.

Bear on a Bike

One bear on a bike might, to paraphrase Oscar Wilde, be an accident, but two? Well that’s ‘bearly’ possible. And yet we seem to have managed it. Check out these gorgeous hand-painted wooden bear decorations by Karin Soderquist. Last week’s i newspaper seemed to think they’d make a quirky and original tree decoration, and who are we to disagree with the fine ladies and gentlemen of the press?

Bear Decoration

Finally we’d like to thank you all for your custom and support over the last year and wish you a very merry Christmas and happy New Year. This new print by Mary Claire Smith completes our bear theme and serves as our Christmas card to you. We thought that this solitary Polar Bear had a festive feel to it, as well as reminding us that the frozen parts of our planet may not be quite so frozen in the decades to come. Let’s hope our Polar chums will keep gazing up at the moon from the splendour of their icy habitat.
