Rachel Eardley

At fifteen Rachel got the taste for silversmithing when she accompanied her Grandfather to an evening class, which she continued going to until leaving home to study 3-D Crafts at Brighton University.
Rachel’s work has developed over the years with strong themes running through it. Her jewellery has gone from miniature kitchen utensils to intricate miniature drawings on coins.
Rachel is influenced by the simple day-to-day objects in our lives and the traditions of the British Isles.
She lives in the West Country with her husband and young son, where she continues to enjoy making and developing her work.

Each item of jewellery in this collection is handcut from decommissioned coins from around the world and finished with silver.
Each piece comes in its own unique box, individually illustrated by Rachel with the coin’s design, date and origin.
